Venmo Charities Digital Launch Campaign

For the introduction of Venmo’s new Charity Profiles we created a two-part launch campaign and visual identity toolkit.
The campaign launched by educating on the new product in the core brand look and feel, with the follow up flight leaning more promotional and tapping into the feel-good season while remaining holiday agnostic.
We scripted, designed, boarded, and animated a range of digital assets. The process involved working with the brand to create custom illustrations that were inspired by their existing style but unique to this particular product launch, and creating simplified depictions of the app UI that were simultaneously true to the product yet easily digestible for the bite-sized content. Each asset’s design and messaging flexed to accommodate a variety of placements, runtimes, and CTA messaging needs - resulting in nearly 50 unique deliverables.
All was then encapsulated into a campaign toolkit which served to inform the future creation of custom assets beyond the digital launch materials - like website, email, and more.
